Betrayers and Betrayals
This Easter is no different from others. On my High School forum a poster had
warned us to be careful with choice of words. One of them was mistaking Easter for Esther. The new one now is friends and members of the same Political family comparing one of their members to Judas.
Even a Bank tried unsuccessfully to cash in on this Easter.
Of Betrayers and Betrayals.
The North led by PMB know whose turn, it is but they know us well. Now who is betraying the Igbos?
Amaechi and GEJ are both Igbos but GEJ is from South South and Amaechi is betraying the South East in the name of being Igbo.
BAT and PYO are both Southerners. They may argue all they like that OBJ is an Igbo man but Olu Falae is Yoruba from Ondo State, how will the South East view both: Betrayers!
It is a case of Pot calling Kettle black. These are interesting times.
The Igbos of the South East are surprising their critics, who must have been expecting every South Easterner to have by now expressed a desire to run but instead, they are playing catch up.
Let me reiterate a well known weakness of the South.
Send three persons on a course. One an Igbo. One Yoruba. And one, Hausa.
The Hausa would be by himself. The Igbo and Yoruba would start battling for who would be class rep.
In the end, separately, they would approach the Hausa man to lead while they would succeed him.
Did Ekwueme succeed Shagari? BAT is said to have an agreement in place to succeed PMB. The South Easterners in APC, were they privy to the agreement?
Remember in 1999, the Yorubas had their own Party but Obj belonged to PDP and he did not deliver the South West to PDP.
Stop the name calling. Stand like Doyin Okupe, with the truth.
