Soludo's concern for Obiano

Anambra State Governor, Chukwuma

Soludo, has expressed optimism, that his immediate predecessor, Willie Obiano, being held by Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, would soon be released.

He described Willie Obiano as a good man.

If indeed, the man is good, why is EFCC holding him?

Mazi Osuji of Nekede, says there is no room you sweep that will be completely free of dirt.

Could that be the case of Willie Obiano?

The naked truth is that, when our relations and friends get into public office, we all see it not as a chance for our person to shine through his good works but an opportunity for him to solve our personal problems.

Following from this, we ask for help and should they fail to oblige us, they get into our bad book.

Most of the abandoned projects are offshoots of this nepotistic arrangement.

The officials would be unable to dole out money so a phoney contract is arranged . This explains why hurriedly formed companies are given jobs, without a track record.

I hope that Chukwuma Soludo has not in any way, while waiting to succeed Obiano indulged in any hanky panky with him?

Should that be the case the EFCC would be too happy to lie in wait for him, while he enjoys his immunity from arrest and prosecution.

Comments

  1. If Peter Obi could served the same Anambra State as governor and without EFCC questioning, then the immediate past governor Willi Obiano either did not manage the affairs of the State well or something near such. But EFCC made it clear days before Mr. Obiano vacated office.

We need to remove the immunity clause from our constitution because the delayed is of no economic benefits to anyone. Some ex-govenors' have died during EFCC trials and this summarily means "case closed".

Our justice system needs a complete overhaul. How do we cost the delayed in justice?

  2. With his educational background, I believe he will learn from the mistakes of his predecessors.
