Good Night, Sunny Ojeagbase

Appreciation for your spontaneous

response to my wife's birthday.

May good things never cease in your surroundings through Christ Our Lord.

Amen.

Good Night Sunny Ojeagbase

Sunny Ojeagbase is a man blessed in the true meaning of the word.

Yorubas have a saying that from the black pot comes the white pap.

Here was a man with an undistinguished background breaking bounds.

He left the Nigerian Army to leave an indelible mark in the annals of Nigerian journalism.

During my service year in Sokoto in 1983, I fell in love with Guardian Newspaper sports pages due to the refreshing style of this reporter with a diploma and not a Degree.

Together with Chris Okojie they made my constant visit to the Library of Sokoto state polytechnic really pleasurable.

From there to Concord Newspapers and finally his own enterprise with undiminished quality and content.

Finally adding Business Mentorship, no wonder he got an honorary Doctorate Degree.

Sunny Ojeagbase, at 71, Rest in Peace.

You were truly Blessed.
