Willie Obiano, Anambra is not Lagos


 

Outgoing Anambra State Governor, having spent two terms in Office like

BAT, wants his wife Ebelechukwu, as a Senator.

BAT was first a Senator before becoming a Governor. Willie Obiano was a Bank MD before becoming a Governor.

It is not unusual for ex Governors to go to the Senate but Willie wants his wife there just like BAT has his wife in the Senate.

Willie before becoming Governor lived in Lagos but I doubt if the people of Anambra would grant him his wish. Voting Soludo for Governor under APGA does not make Willie Obiano a Godfather that can make a first lady a Senator.

Anambra is not Lagos, Willie's wife needs a higher qualification than first Lady to win a Senatorial seat in Anambra State.
