Who will teach Soludo that politics and governance go hand in hand?

Not a few people are hopeful of a Soludo good performance in office as

Governor.

However, his romance with his technocrat friends may prove too costly for comfort.

Already party members are worried. Soludo needs the party and the members.

He needs to draw the line very carefully.

When I heard that commissioner hopefuls were to write a test, I was alarmed.

Governance is a craft you do not get by writing tests. I doubt if the US conducts tests for would be political appointees.

I personally have nothing against giving appointments to the best but loyalty to the cause of the party is a necessity.

What we practice is party politics and the party just has to be carried along.

Balarabe Musa was impeached by the Kaduna State Legislature as a political statement not a vote against his performance.

I am excited by a Soludo Governorship but I would be gutted to have him disgraced out of office by career politicians.

  1. I want to believe it is a rumour that the Commissioners hopeful will write test. In as much as Mr. Governor-elect didn't write test to become the flag-bearer of his Political party.

Governance is empowered by the Constitution.

It is not aptitude that makes a person succeed in leadership. But the soft skills like genuine love, honesty, kindness, fairness etc which all sums to attitude. And attitude they say is everything not aptitude.

Office Politics is very different from partisan Politics.
