IMF will continue to insist on removal of Oil Subsidy
Nigeria, a leading crude oil producer imports fuel and needs the support of
IMF.He who goes a borrowing goes a sorrowing.
It reminds me of a friend who went to his elder brother for support and his brother queried his principle of paying Tithe.
I am not against paying of Tithe.
There was a time in Nigeria, you had to prove you are a muslim to be made a Federal Minister of Education. That was when Nigeria secretly joined Organization of Islamic Countries for the benefits.
Of course, nobility entails obligations.
Even renegades refine Oil in the creeks. Biafrans under difficult circumstances refined Oil. It is no rocket science.
PMB promised us modular refineries. It is now Dangote refinery. If you fail to relate both, then you must be visiting from outer space.
IMF must insist on removal of Fuel subsidy. If not, you stay on your own.
Borrowing and Sorrowing are two sides of a Coin.
Truth is bitter.
