Ganduje, his wife and his son
The APC led by PMB is hitting new heights in terms of nepotism. Hitherto,
this is a dark part of PMB unbeknown to many.Popular as BAT is, his share in nepotism is legendary.
In Kano State, a strategic APC stronghold for its voting numbers, the Governor Ganduje or Gandollar depending on what part of the Political divide you belong to, is in the News for reasons smelling of nepotism.
His son, yes, the same son who earlier reported his mother to EFCC is threatening to sue his father.
Reporting his mother to EFCC for corruption is now followed by a threat to sue his father for witholding payment to his company for a contract duly executed.
In Lagos State such things are unheard of among allies, talk less of family members.
Governor Ganduje must be very important to the power establishment in Nigeria, otherwise he ought to have been called to order.
First of all, he is caught on Video in a compromising way with Dollars.
Today, his son is shamelessly, telling the world that his father is demanding kickback from him.
What the son does not know is that it is odious for a Governor to award public contract to his son.
Governance in a regime battling unemployment should not be about leaders and their nuclear family.
Awarding Government contracts to companies remotely connected to family members of Government officials is condemnable.
It becomes benumbing when in the market place, News of a mother and her son on contracts and the same son and his Governor father about Government contract and kickback is all over the place.
Somehow, from Lagos to Kano nepotism is becoming the order of the day.
In Lagos BAT's wife is the only Senator nay Legislator unencumbered by time limit in the Legislature. BAT's daughter is Iya Oloja - Head of market women in Lagos State and his son and heir apparent in charge of Signage.
These are practices by people who have had the benefit of interaction with advanced nations, where such things have dire consequences.
What a way to build a legacy? Obviously not on a Rock but on a quicksand!
