Ambode as a Metaphor

Akinwunmi Akinbode was denied Governorship of Lagos State for a

second term.

There is a proverb that says that when one slave sees another go into the ditch, it should know that when the time comes it will go the same way.

This proverb, Ambode failed to note. BAT became powerful in Lagos State down to the opportunity offered him to be Governor for two terms.

Knowing that, he tries not to create a monster that will unseat or challenge him successfully.

I understand Ambode wants to contest for Governor again. I do not think this is a wise decision.

I doubt if he has the Blessings of BAT in view of the damaging information coming from the Ambode camp on why he was denied a second term.

Going by his advice to youths to get their Permanent Voter's Cards, I suspect he wants to try something spectacular.

I doubt if BAT would be running for President. Should that happen, he would have more than enough time to stop Ambode from winning back the Governorship position.

For Ambode to win, BAT can as well think of quiting politics or to retire to Abuja.
