Why Afenifere may have dumped BAT



Arabs have a proverb that the enemy of my enemy is my friend. Afenifere is

supposed to be the mouthpiece of the Yorubas, just like Arewa before Miyetti Allah for Hausas and Ohaneze for the Igbos.

But truth be told, the one that commands the most respect is Miyetti Allah. They remain today, the most authentic voice of their people.

While I  applaud Afenifere for setting the records straight, I must not fail to point out that it is their own way of paying BAT back for the contempt he has for them.

Afenifere is dead in Lagos State no thanks to BAT. The Afenifere you hear about is supposed to speak for Yorubas but how powerful are Yorubas without their Economic capital, Lagos?

In spite of that, their bigwigs must pretend they are the reservoirs of power in the South West.

BAT has been poked in the eye. Await his response.
