PMB preparing to take a bow

The 2022 Budget is to be the last full budget to be implemented by PMB for

come 29th May 2023, he has to handover to another President, bringing a close to his reign.

What others think of PMB should today not count.

I am wondering how PMB feels about his odyssey as it pertains to the Nigerian Presidency?

Many a time in the past, PMB tried mindlessly and doggedly to go it alone but each time he came short only to take another shot.

Each time it was always about his people and the people too were always fanatical in their support but he needed other people.

Then came BAT and the rest like they say is history.

Looking back today, all Nigerians see PMB as brimming with the fire of nepotism. Hardly surprising.

But how does he see his performance? Constitutionally, he has had his share.

Is he satisfied with his performance? The desires of his heart in seeking public office have they been satiated?

One of the intended positives of a PMB Presidency, was Security. How will PMB rate himself?

PMB was supposed to be as straight as an arrow. Does he see himself as such?

There is the small matter of Budget padding. Typically, PMB would have held out but today the fire in his belly is gone. He has capitulated.

Any regrets? I believe his Biography would be a Best Seller for the man he has become as opposed to what he promised.

But putting things in perspective, the biggest achievement of PMB is to approach the finish line in such a good health as he now has.

Remember his long stay in Uk?

  1. Hmmm! Power tussle, I just want to be in control! What about the main reason of being voted into office, which is protection of lives and properties? They forget so easily and so soon until the tenure expires. God be with us. Happy new year. Amen.
