May God bless Afenifere leaders

When I heard the News, I rejoiced. I do not support Igbo Presidency because I

am an Igbo. No. I support Igbo Presidency because it is the right thing to do.

It is not like I feel they are the best, no. I just feel that in our political history, it is about time, the Igbos produced a President.

At least, it will save the rest of Nigeria, cries of marginalization. It will prove that the Civil War is indeed over and once again, we are one.

Thereafter, we can proceed to the North East and eventually, amend our constitution into a confederal arrangement with six regions and a weaker centre for coordination.

I understand, that the National Assembly is amending campaign expenses upwards, of course they do not want to curb corruption but intensify it so that every political office holders tries to feather his nest in preparation for the next Election.

The day Nigerians realize that it is not the size of their campaign funds but their record of service that is desirable, then we would have solved a major political head ache.

For now, whatever happens, going forward I salute Afenifere for coming out strongly in support of an Igbo President.

  1. Excellent interview by the elder state man.

He was blunt and honest to tell Asiwaju the truth.

  2. It is not just in the saying. It's justifying a position that matters.
Does the saying of a leader actually justify the true position of the entire members, some leaders are meant to say something and take a different position when it matters most.
    Lets watch and see.
