Between illegal refining and Fraudulent Imports

Whenever, I hear of illegal refineries in the Niger Delta and think of Biafran

Refineries, of the Nigerian civil war, I  feel amused.

APC boasted that they would build modular refineries. Today, all the talk is about Dangote refinery.

Illegal refineries in the Niger Delta and Oil refining by Biafrans would tell you that, to refine Oil is no rocket science.

Remember, Lawan, the Mister Integrity that was set up by Femi Otedola?

If Oil refining is no rocket science, the money to be made from Subsidy explains why it is easier to point accusing fingers at Illegal refiners and go after them, than fix our defective refineries.

What Government cannot do, they are playing dog in the manger for others.

Government should license the illegal refineries and tax them appropriately. In the process, they would be free to do their business and contribute to our GDP.

Things like the above happen because we have more than enough excuses not to do the right thing.
