BAT is not ( just) corrupt

He is a victim of his choices. He chose

to go with NADECO.

In that he made friends. Those he bankrolled.

He made enemies of the Law. Those who questioned his source of wealth.

He came back to Nigeria and met a formidable opponent in Funsho Williams.

The Muslim power brokers of Lagos State gave him the upper hand over Funsho Williams.

In turn he displaced both Funsho and those who helped him overcome Funsho.

He became the be all and end all in Lagos. He gave and took as he pleased.

He chose and sided with Road Transport Workers. They are violent and could act as his enforcers and champion his cause as a friend of the neglected.

He provides for them and they watch his back.

BAT is a man of ideas but people see a megalomaniac.

The man wants to rule Nigeria but Nigerians do not like nepotism.

He chose to treat his wife differently from other Legislators representing Lagos State.

He gave his son a high profile public job. Ditto for his daughter.

Such choices could make him unpopular and those are the things his traducers have against him.

Finally, he chose PMB over Atiku. That choice is still killing Nigerians.

GEJ was perceived to be weak and PMB a tough army General but today, that choice has birthed the worst case of Insecurity since the Nigerian Civil War.

Which of the above choices is tolerable?
