How disorganized can this government be?

So Minister of State for Labour, Festus

Keyamo, SAN feels the panel on #EndSARs was illegal. Lai Muhammed picked holes in the report and Governor Sanwo - Olu says nobody was killed at Lekki Toll Gate.

Very very sad indeed.

Healing is very far away. The starting point is to admit.

Now the nay Sayers have won. The truth has been delayed but it cannot be denied for good.
The government should not add to it's problems.
To say that nobody died at the Toll Gate is to prolong the comedy of errors instead of ending it.
My take is that it will pay Governor Sanwo - Olu more to admit now than let his successor take the shine.
At a time when the governor may have been shorn of his privileges justice may come calling and he would wish, he had done the proper thing.
I really sympathize with Sanwo - Olu and I rejoice with Governor Ambode for the many problems confronting the incumbent which I doubt if Ambode would have handled.
First it was Covid-19. Then the Ikoyi Building collapse. The report is being awaited and now this.
At the end of Sanwo - Olu's first term he would have faced more challenges than any of his predessessors since 1999.

  1. Exactly. But the way things stand, a golden opportunity has been lost by trying to play the ostrich. I guess the governor was merely trying to tow the line of lie Mohammed who is already notorious in his lying trade. Like you have rightly stated, the successor might end up doing the right thing and it will be a shame on the incumbent governor. Just like Buhari did what OBJ failed to do by honoring MKO.
