Covid-19 and conspiracy theories.

As the world awaits another lockdown based on history, conspiracy theories

are beginning to rear their heads all over the place.

Life as the world is very competitive. People look for ways fair and foul to get going.

One major lesson of Covid-19 is the need for Independence. Over time the world as individuals has been enmeshed in a life of interdependence such that for many products, components come from across the world.

With the current wave of conspiracy theories and the events of 2020, it is time to go back to self dependence by individuals, groups and countries.

In 2020, Medical tourism received a big hit. For countries, though the resources may not be there but for the sake of their citizens, there is a grave need to redress the gap.

Not a few individuals developed new skills to solve at home what they so much craved and hitherto got outside their homes.

My people have a saying that one who is rejected does not reject himself.

Among the conspiracy theories, is the one targeted at Tourism. Sad for them who see Tourism as a money spinner.

Well it calls for another business model, from the victims. Is it not said that necessity is the mother of invention?

While on this subject, while many businesses and individuals were badly hurt by Covid-19, it is gratifying to note that it was not all gloom and doom, for some businesses and individuals actually smiled to the bank from the gains they made from opportunities that the pandemic tossed their way.

As another round rears its ugly head may winners increase.

  1. Well said.

    When will African nations learn??

The Almighty has done His part. Africa is endowed with so much natural resources but we can't show any blessing from the resources.

How on Earth will Nigeria still be importing PMS, AGO etc??? Yet we want our economy to get better. One day Nigeria leaders will be shocked and they shall regret every evil they did to "common people". Of recent a leader of a political party spent months abroad on "medical tourism". The day of reconning is near.
