Between Chris Ngige and PMB

One time Governor of Anambra State and current Minister of Labour, Dr.

Chris Ngige had sometime ago asked striking doctors who were being interviewed by Saudi Arabia to sojourn abroad as Nigeria had a surfeit of unemployed Doctors.

Today, PMB is decrying brain drain for affecting quality healthcare in Africa.

The question is who do we believe?

Chris Ngige is a medical doctor who is neck deep in Politics.

He made history when the agreement he had with Chris Uba at Ogwugwu shrine in Orkija came to light.

In return for Chris Uba's support, Dr. Chris Ngige had sworn at the shrine that from the allocation of Anambra State, he Chris Ngige would be giving Chris Uba ten Million Naira every month.

It was failure to acquiesce to the agreement by Chris Ngige that made the secret agreement public.

Chris Ngige dared to dine with the devil. I do not know who to blame but Chris Ngige does not cut the picture of a medical practitioner but more of a labour leader, no wonder why he could go to a shrine to make an agreement.

If PMB who embarks on Medical tourism abroad could decry brain drain, missing certificate and all and Chris Ngige who is a trained Medical Practitioner sees nothing wrong with brain drain, then once again, this Government needs a coordinating Minister.

That Chris Ngige who is a medical practitioner will not give succour to his wailing colleagues is bad enough.

For so long have concerned citizens decried the practice of putting square pegs in round holes, perhaps Chris Ngige will perform better as Health Minister and not labour Minister but will his colleagues agree?
