Tordue Salem, like Dimgba Igwe

Some years ago, celebrated journalist and friend and colleague of equally

celebrated journalist, Mike Awoyinfa, was sent to the world beyond by a hit and run Driver. Today, the News is that a man has owned up to killing missing Journalist and Vanguard Newspapers correspondent, to the House of Representatives, Tordue Salem.

We shall all die. The difference between the two deaths was that Dimgba Igwe, did not have to be declared missing.

Salem was declared missing and his colleagues, protested before the mystery of his disappearance was garnished with the arrest of his confessed assailant in what looks like a hatchet job.

I dare talk of a hatchet job because the story is that the incident happened at a place notorious for criminal activities.

Talk of ingenuity. I hope the story is true that the victim was killed in an area notorious for crimes.

Should it be otherwise, I dare say it is tantamount to speaking ill of the dead.
