Office of the Attorney General of the Federation has now acquired more

prestige than hitherto.

First it was Chief of Staff of the President. The new occupant needs no controversy.

Now is the Attorney General as if in the days of Late Abba Kyari, there was no Attorney General.

My children's teacher, who though, was teaching Home Economics and yet proved a most competent teacher has proved that it is not always the office but the occupant, who defines the office.

Bawa at EFCC is no Ribadu. Sanwo - Olu is neither Jakande nor Fashola. After Dora Akunyili, NAFDAC appears without a head.

Malami wants to crush Bandits because through his application, a court has declared them terrorists. He says it is in consonance with the rules of engagement.

Perhaps those rules of engagement do not apply in the South East.

What do I know after all Malami is no Chief of Army Staff but what has the fight against bandits got to do with the office of the Attorney General?

 Maybe to advise the terrorists of their rights? I do not get it.

Well in this Government, power can and does shift.

It is Malami's time, let him enjoy his time in the sun, except that action and rewards are always equal and opposite.
