Fighting Terrorism with kid gloves

Recently, I was on a trip to Kaduna by road from Abuja. Although, I was

scared but I was pleasantly surprised to see military checkpoints along the way.

Understandably, the checkpoints from my observation were closer to Abuja than Kaduna. Luckily for us, there was no incident.

Somehow, I have got to know that there are some notorious towns linked with the kidnapping. I know that Kaduna is a volatile state.

It has ever been, being the political capital of the North.

Knowing a problem is halfway through the solution.

If these towns are known, what then stops our ubiquitous Directorate of State Services from inviting the respective village heads for questioning.

But you never know with PMB. Now that Malami's application has enabled the bandits to  be termed terrorists by a court, the first port of call is the domain of the traditional rulers.

They should be told in no uncertain terms, that their bad eggs have been branded terrorists and any traditional ruler found to have a share in the enterprise, remember they were not long ago termed as businessmen, would be dethroned and charged with aiding and abetting of Terrorism.

In the south East, it worked, with the political will, it will in the North West, it can.
