FAAN needs our prayers

Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria, FAAN, needs our prayers. They have

embarked on a monumental assignment that may fail or succeed.

They want to minimize the incidents of indiscipline at our Airports, nationwide.

There is no gainsaying the fact that the various acts of Indiscipline at our Airports are very embarrassing.

Whether they will succeed or not is another matter.

But let me recall an incident of this nature that died on announcement. It was the call to probe the Nigerian Customs and Excise Service under the Shagari regime.

The workers welcomed it but declared that the exercise should not begin with them. 

Now I am not suggesting the same but I wonder if the workers will not toe the same line?

Remember that the Airports are as strategic as the Seaports and land boarders.

The activities that go on there are mind boggling. They equally need our urgent attention.

The exercise is urgent and important but what are it's chances of success?
