2010 21: How does Lai sleep at night?
As I write this piece, I think of a mutual friend of Lai Muhammed and
myself. How does the man sleep at night?During BAT's first term as Governor, he was Chief of Staff. Next, he was sent to Kwara State to contest for Governorship. He failed and fell into what he is today.
One interesting fact of a lie is that, it takes a lie to cover a lie.
By lies the ruling All Progressives Congress came to office and by lies, they are hanging on, with Lai as the chief liar.
Till my dying days, I will continue to recall how this Government changed the narrative in respect of the deaths of 201020 at Lekki Toll Gate.
My pain is not the futile attempt at cover up but the innocent people, they won over, who keep asking for photographs of the dead.
The Government knows the truth. May the truth set them free.
With regards to Lai Muhammed, what will his affairs post Government be? How will his children live down their father's reputation?
I know parents go through a lot to put food on the table. For Lai Muhammed, my prayer is that his case should be like that of the male chef who insists at home that cooking is a woman's job. In short, may his Government job of lying and misinformation not interfere with his disciplinary duties at home.
Please look properly and tell me what you see and note of the children of corrupt persons.
What goes around comes around!
If the Government has learnt any lesson from 201020, it is how to cope with protests.

ReplyDeleteNo corruptible govt wants to know the bitter truth from its citizens, they all have interior motives with fake promises forgetting tomorrow is pregnant,according to late Awolowo "The children of the poor you refuse to train today,will not allow your children to have peace of mind tomorrow".

ReplyDeleteAnnual budget keep increasing, infrastructure decaying, yet Political class expect citizens to be happy.
So sad, the President claimed no government has surpass his achievement record since 1999. The same administration put the country into "second slavery".
The prime achievement they claim is rail projects. Now the Bandits are teaching Politicians the hard lessons of doing "first thing first".
