From Good luck to bad Omen

Life indeed is very interesting. To think that GEJ has suddenly turned to the

beautiful bride that he is today from the poster boy of all that is wrong in Nigeria.

GEJ came saw and left on a very interesting note.

He was a creation of OBJ or fate thrust him upon OBJ but baba ended up being disappointed and what we have today is a fall out of his turncoat behavior against Baba.

I call OBJ baba not because I can swear by him but because of his age and his antecedents.

GEJ got what many died longing for and not getting. He perhaps came before his time.

While in office, he was sorely vilified and put up as a poster boy for corruption and cluelessness.

With the benefit of hindsight and his acceptance of his loss at the 2015 polls, he has easily become a darling of many.

Indeed Good luck is lucky. Not many people can, like him, stage the kind of phenomenal comeback he is staging now in the minds of Nigerians.

For him not to move from good luck to a bad Omen, he should continue to ride his new found good fortune in the minds of Nigerians and the international community and shun elective office.

This advice is free and it comes from knowing that he has indeed been riding on the wings of luck and too much of anything is bad.

If GEJ failed in office blame not his stars but himself. He was ill prepared.

Those who put him up did so for their evil intentions.

They wanted a willing tool in their macabre dance of primitive abuse of power and pilfering of the public till.

Why Good luck was chosen over his peers remains an attack on good performance in office.

Good luck was barely long in office as a Deputy Governor. He was never a Legislator whether local or national.

He was no trade Unionist. Barely in office as Governor and then he becomes Vice President of an ailing Country under an ailing President.

Then the ding dong of what to follow. Will he or will he not?

Finally he comes in with the support of the National assembly and Baba.

Then, come in Niger Delta, elder Edwin Clark and Asari Dokubo.

Obj becomes history but as usual he turns critic with many backers and the fall commenced.

APC in the making with Speaker Tambuwa and BAT.

The rest like they say is history.

The surprise of all surprises was the statement by Elder Clark distancing himself from GEJ.

Oh, I never trusted Clark as an old time Politician in Nigerian history but in spite of that, I was shocked. Asari Dokubo is yet to speak in spite of his rantings in support of GEJ.
