Corporate Affairs Commission should not run at a loss

Nigerians are very creative. Go to any office of Corporate Affairs Commission

and see the number of people there.

Nigerians got talents and they are always ready to explore. Those at the Corporate Affairs Commission are no touts but people will lofty dreams of how to better their future.

Lawyers go there aplenty and they are making a kill. Tell them Corporate Affairs Commission is running at a loss and they will have a throaty laugh.

Corporate Affairs Commission should say something better. The only people that will believe them are the people who crafted the lie from the pit of hell, that they are dishing out to the public.

Their services are not free and they enjoy astronomical patronage. Maybe they need the services of a consultant to rejig their operations.

But wait for it. This may be a subterfuge to hike the price of their services. Do they have rivals?

I recall the journey of endless removal of subsidy from the price of premium motor spirit or petrol.

First it was to tell us, as if we did not know,  that a litre of fuel was cheaper than a bottle of Coca Cola.

Then in Saudi Arabia the price of fuel is higher than the price in Nigeria.

Nobody talks about governance in Saudi Arabia.

Corporate Affairs Commission may want to hike prices. It is well within their rights.

Those who seek to legitimately set up their businesses deserve encouragement not exploitation which they deserve from caring leaders.
