I share the pain of Muslims in Nigeria. From our colonial heritage, everything is skewed towards Christianity.

The truth is that while Muslims, Christians and non adherents of the two religions welcome and enjoy everything that comes with Christianity without fully thinking of it, the Muslims never tire of tilting the balance.

In this I sympathize with them. How do you change age old practices without ruffling feathers.

Some Christian holidays come in twos and Muslims try to equalize without thinking of the effect on the Economy. Christians have schools aplenty and Muslims try to equalize. This is salutary.

The reason I sympathize with the Muslims is that they try to play catch up without making any noise like they are doing it surreptitiously.

Take the case of camps and vigils. Like with respect to schools, let all attempts at catch up lead to progress and not ego trip.

Muslims are greeting, ' Happy New Year' and PMB is joining.

Next expect a public holiday on the new year of the Muslims. It will be a sure way of letting the world know that Christians should not be cheating Nigerian Muslims.
