Who will tell Miyetti Allah?

from security operatives.

I wonder who will ask them to tell us who is shielding Boko Haram and Bandits?

They may not know it, but they have a big log in their sanctimonious eye and unless they remove it, they lack the wherewithal to point fingers.

Has it not been established that when one finger is pointing at people, four fingers are doing the same to the one pointing?

With the suspicious, barbaric and undiplomatic 'arrest' of Nnamdi Kanu, Miyetti Allah can gloat and talk about Sunday Igboho.

Pray, what are their crimes?

Bandits and Boko Haram are engaging and embarrassing our security forces in the north.

Miyetti Allah is yet to comment. Is it a good thing that Northerners are engaging the Nigerian State in a religious warfare without an end in sight?

The Economic cost to the Nigerian State and the north in particular is so huge that Miyetti Allah should be feeling too ashamed to talk.

But who will hold them accountable? Not the Government, not the northern hoi polloi.

It is really sad that Miyetti Allah are cattle breeders and our President is a cattle owner. Please connect the dots and know why Miyetti Allah is so powerful.

Self determination is an inalienable right. Nnamdi Kanu and Sunday Igboho are no criminals. Certainly, they are no worse than Boko Haram and Bandits.

When peaceful change becomes impossible, violent change becomes inevitable.

In the Bible, when Pharaoh became too stubborn, a bigger force had to force his hands to let the Israelites go.

It is instructive to note that the Israelites voluntarily went to Egypt but the Biblical Egyptians thought they could keep them against their will.

The British brought the North and South together as equals and if it is no longer working, the South reserves the right to say so and pull out.

That the Northerners are refusing is a pointer to the fact that they need the South more than they are ready to accept.

My take is that separately, the North and the South can grow more not together. The reason is simple.

Together, one feels cheated. Separately, both will grow their economies without let or hindrance.

Thereafter, as equals, if they do desire, they can enter into a treaty just like ECOWAS and Euro.

To keep a people against their will is an open invitation for anarchy. With peace comes progress.

We need peace. We need progress not name calling and playing the ostrich. The days of slave trade are ended. Today it is Visa lottery.
