PMB living in the past
Who will tell our President that Nigeria is fast changing? I am not surprised that PMB is against the ban on open
grazing.Someone should tip him off, that to continue to live in the past is to accelerate his irrelevance in the scheme of things in Nigeria, today.
Open Grazing could be tolerated in the village and not in the cities, except that cattle being an agricultural animal should not be a cause of Agricultural discomfort.
Herdsmen graze openly both in the villages and cities causing discomfort to all and sundry.
It is one thing to cause discomfort unwittingly and another to cause it without care. This exactly is the cause of angst across the land.
Herdsmen lead their cattle into people's farms causing mayhem without remorse. Often times the victims are too scared to complain.
That the the Southern Governors are banning open Grazing is because, it is about time and no one can stop an idea whose time has come.
PMB better realizes this point. That the cry is coming all over the country demands that if the President has a listening ear, he should better listen as he was elected not for Fulanis alone but for all Nigerians.
To do otherwise is to give credence to the belief that he prefers doing the bidding of Fulanis to that of other Nigerians.
True, he is Fulani, but so too those before him and those to follow him have and would have their own ethnic group.
In our present day a lot of things are wrong including the fact that people take Oaths only to do otherwise. The oath of office ought to be reassuring to all ethnicities in Nigeria but the evidence points to the contrary. This indeed is sad.
