Two sides of PMB's crate
Words coming from London have it that PMB has not been able to make it to the hospital. This is because of the pressure on him by the Nigerian community there.
For a man of PMB'S age, this is rather unfortunate. Well it is the way of the world.
Like Okodo the comedian once said, since PMB came into office, many people have not been smiling. This is just a dose of PMB'S medicine and like they say, uneasy lies the head that wears the crown.
To many people, the treatment is inhuman but so too has been the uncaring attitude of PMB to public complaints some of them bothering on stoicism.
How the drama plays out will be interesting to follow. Recall that PMB once tried to get Umaru Dikko home in a diplomatic cargo created out of a crate. Unconfirmed reports have it that the crowd at siege in the Nigerian House in London is looking out for suit cases as they fear PMB might be smuggled out in those.
What exactly do the crowd want? I understand they want PMB to go back home to Nigeria to attend to matters of the state.
The crowd have a right to their opinion, but what difference will it make? We are used to his ignoring us and always speaking to us through the masquerade called the Presidency.
However, the truth be told now and always, accountability is a cardinal part of leadership.
