The prophecy on Orji Kalu

 I am not a fan of prophecies but I am constrained to comment on the

prophecy that Orji Kalu will succeed PMB.

If Orji Kalu succeeds PMB, I will not in the least be surprised. The reason is that the same variables that threw up OBJ as President will make it possible. That is to say that, there is a precedent.

The variables are the same everywhere, that is voter power. When OBJ utilized the slot of the South West, he did not do so because, he was their choice but because, others wanted him. The North was more comfortable with him than with Olu Falae.

Today, too Orji Kalu is more attractive to the North than any other South East politician. Unfortunately for latter day converts to All Progressives Congress, he had given himself a head start.

I will be surprised if as candidate of the All Progressives Congress, Orji Kalu fails to win the Presidency. The reason is that for all the failings of the All Progressives Congress, they are in power and control the levers of governance.

Opposition People's Democratic Party, do not appear capable of stopping All Progressives Congress. In spite of #ENDSars, the youths do not appear ready to take over or at least make a strong statement. They appear too weak to speak up.

Although, 2023 appear two more years away, there is nothing really to engender a meaningful discourse today to keep one from thinking of tomorrow.
