Northern elders and their crocodile tears

I just finished reading an article by elder Dele Sobowale on the way the

north leads Nigeria into poverty. Sobowale being an economist believes Nigeria has no business with poverty but for the northern states.

He gave an interesting poser about letting lose, those who have nothing to lose.

The advantage the northern elites have over the southern elites is coming back to haunt the Northerners.

In the South, there are little or no sacred cows. It is everyone to himself and God for us all.

In the north it is not so. The privileged class enjoy their privileges unfettered. Hence it is that the same families keep enjoying power, father, wife and kids with their southern friends to the neglect of the children of nobodies.

Things would have remained the same but for the bizarre idea of importing mercenaries to force GEJ out of power.

The insecurity in the north is traceable to these mercenaries who are refusing to return to their homes of origin.

Like the Yorubas say, when you wrap soap with a leaf in time the leaf turns to soap. The imported bandits are now proving adept at understanding the soft underbelly of Nigeria.

What we are seeing today is no thanks to their boldness and the pacifism of the northern elites.

They should cry no more. It is judgement day.

The father of the fatherless has come to rescue his people. The sad aspect is that, there is no Moses in sight.

  1. I always agree with you in all your posts, but I refuse to agree with you in your last paragraph of this one where you mentioned that there's no Moses in sight,

We have a Moses in Mazi Nnamdi Kanu but many like Israelites refuse to acknowlage his Massage, which is the same when Moses bring the massage of going back to the promise Land,
Many due to pessercution from Egyptan authorities then cowardly refuse to believe in him, until we listen to the message of Justice he is preaching we may not be librated any time soon,
    Ka Chineke mezie okwu.
