Head or Tail, we lose on the issue of compensating Fulani Herdsmen

It is interesting how northerners are cashing out big time on Nigeria. Tired

or still making money off kidnapping and getting money from the government, it is now blackmail.

Miyetti Allah say, they should be compensated for the losses suffered by Fulanis. And I ask, who compensates those of us who have been traumatized by Fulanis?

The Fulanis must be revelling in medieval thoughts if they think the current groundswell of opinion against them is a joke.

They should smell the coffee, people are angry and justifiably so. The angst against them is due to their brazen grazing activities. To threaten to keep their cows away from the South is prayers answered.

I understand the DSS is taking interest in the matter. They should rather spend their arsenal on looking for victims of kidnapping and the kingpins of kidnapping.

The present issue of cows and Northern foodstuffs has nothing to do with DSS. The Fulanis may not know this, they are helping the South to revive the their own livestock industry.

Beef dominates most household diets but many a health buff had long looked for ways to replace Beef with other substitutes. What the Fulanis are attempting is very much welcome on many fronts.

I understand, the middle belt want to replace the Fulanis as suppliers. So much for Arewa solidarity.

Nigeria is changing. All Progressives Congress (APC) promised change and indeed the country is changing.

Those who live in the past will sure be left behind. I will not be surprised if the intervention of DSS is a subtle way of Government initiating negotiation with the Fulanis.

With the APC, Head or Tail, the Fulanis win and the Southerners lose.

  1. I love this indeed,APC promised change and Nigeria is changing.
They should not think of coming back, that means, they thought that supplying Nigeria cows is to blind them and to possess their lands any how.
Already,in Ekiti state, the American government in partnership with the state has a large modern cow grazing farm for dairy milk and consumption.
I assume, other states and individuals can follow suit.
