PMB wearing Nepotism as a second nature
President Muhammad Buhari
Obj it was who decried PMB's nepotism. He said he did not know it as PMB's
fault. The lesson in the misadventure of PMB as a President, is that for every position, people must be made to know what it entails.
Unlike many of our past leaders PMB fought tooth and nail to be President. Apparently, he had a mission.
In his first coming as Nigerian leader, he had said that Nigerians had no other country but this.
Today, I wonder if he still remembers that statement made in 1983.
Could it be his travails under GEJ? I still do not understand how PMB would turn Nigeria into a laughing stock in terms of appointments.
The Police Act, which PMB recently signed states clearly that no Policeman stays in office beyond 35 years.
The incumbent IG midwived it and now PMB is making him to violate the Law. It is regrettable that those who should know, knowingly put PMB in office in spite of his obvious flaws.
Immediate past Chief of Army Staff has come out to make the scandalous claim that his appointment as army chief was a reward for his father's loyalty to PMB. That may be true but to what purpose is that disclosure in the light of the poor performance in office of Buratai.
Another disclosure is the appointment given to PMB's private secretary Tunde Sabiu Yusuf as an Assistant Director in National Intelligence Agency.
That appointment as well as Buratai''s nomination as an ambassador are geared towards rewarding these appointees as he prepares for life outside office.
It brings to mind the Biblical story of the servant about to be relieved of his job and he altered his master's accounts in favour of his debtors.
It is a big shame on Nigeria but PMB should look no further for the possible repercussions for his current misdeeds, than his former boss, OBJ.
Obj is daily explaining his rule.
