Nigeria: the beginning of an end or the end of a beginning?

Christians are wont to dub many strange occurrences as end time things.

The above question is sequel to the many strange things happening today all at once.

Hausas are complaining against Fulanis. North West is responding to the challenge of insecurity in the north East with their own brand of insecurity.

Governors are attacking each other. Senators are attacking Governors. A sitting Governor is roughing it up with a predecessor.

Ijaws in Ondo are rejecting Odua anthem. The Niger Delta militants are spoiling for war.

Lest we forget, 2023 is around the corner, at least to politicians. In line with that and the agreement in principle between the Yorubas and the Hausas of All Progressive Congress, BAT is having none of Igbo Presidency and in support of his quest, many people openly declared OBJ an Igbo man.

That claim was an assault on the intelligence of the Igbos. I am Igbo and I support the clamour for Igbo Presidency, not because, I believe it will lead Nigeria to eldorado, no, I believe because of equity.

If we believe we are one, we should act as one. Why the Yorubas will enter into an agreement to succeed PMB, beats my imagination. No wonder they say OBJ is an Igbo man. So what state does he come from?

That the Hausas agreed to that deal is their own way of dividing to rule.

In the north, you do not hear of Igbo Presidency, but power moving to the South.

That is their own way of telling the Yorubas to slug it out with the Igbos.

In response, the Yorubas say OBJ is an Igbo man, to make the Igbos believe their slot has been used up by OBJ.

Another ploy to deny the Igbos of their slot is to draft GEJ in the name of South South doing a second term.

If they knew that, why did PMB contest against GEJ?

I would rather all these lead to a new Nigeria instead of a worse old Nigeria.
