Covid-19, Schools and PTF

Sometime ago, I posited that the second wave of Covid - 19 is presenting our

government a big opportunity to right the wrongs of the first wave of Covid - 19.

Like a broken record the government is quivering over the opening of schools. Today, it is the 18th of January after saying the date would be reviewed. Presidential Task Force says what the Minister promised was a review and not a change.

Good talk. What may not be known is the shape of the review.

Expecting the Minister to appraise us of the review is to expect the impossible.

That being the case, we can only hope that the appraisal was thorough and in the public good.

For your money it is safer to conjecture that the failures of the first wave had a hand in the short review that led to no change.

In the end, it is only the living that will study.
