Between Babafemi Ojudu and Sunday Igboho

Senator Babafemi Ojudu

In asking for a successor to Chief Obafemi Awolowo, I had in mind the bravado of Chief Sunday Adeyemo alias Sunday Igboho.
It is in times of crisis that leaders stand to be counted. When the people of Israel where in bondage in Egypt, God raised Moses and he showed up. When the Philistines were terrorising the people of Israel, David killed Goliath to change the narrative.
Today, the Fulanis and their cows are everywhere but Sambisa forest.
In the South West little known Sunday Igboho has taken the initiative to sack the Fulanis from the South West.
While his stock is rising to the disdain of leadership wannabes of the South West, one of them comes up with a story on Sunday Igboho designed ostensibly to paint him as a thug fit for hire. Senator Babafemi Ojudu, someone for whom I had some respect and special adviser to the President on Political affairs alleges that BAT made him appeal to Sunday Igboho not to interfere in the Ekiti State Governorship rerun Elections. According to Ojudu, Sunday Igboho had been commissioned by Late Lamidi Adedibu to cause Mayhem in the Elections.
Now, this was 2009 and Late Lamidi Adedibu, the strongman of Ibadan politics and acclaimed father of PDP was already dead.
He died in 2008 and from all accounts, Sunday Igboho could not have taken instructions from Chief Adedibu since from Independent accounts and the accounts of Sunday Adeyemo, Rasheed Ladoja, the impeached Governor of Oyo State and rival to Chief Adedibu was his boss.
Now, in whose interest was Babafemi Ojudu's account?
