It was really a shock hearing of the demise of this gentleman extra

ordinaire, Edward Ikem Gbemudu. He hailed from Illah in Oshimili North Local Government of Delta State.

The last time, I set my eyes on him was in 1976. He was my senior at St Pius Xth Grammar School, Onitsha Ugbo in Delta State 

Edward was quiet, presentable and personable. He was ever jovial. He was never one to get into trouble or give you trouble 

He belonged to a set in St. Pius Xth Grammar School with the highest number of Medical practitioners.

He studied Medicine at the College pf Medicine, University of Lagos.

Sadly he had his practice in the US where he was a specialist in Internal Medicine and was home in Nigeria for the holidays.While holidaying, he contracted Covid  - 19 and was unable to beat it.

May his gentle Soul Rest In Peace. Amen
