 The events of the #EndSARS protests are still birthing interesting follow ups.

First, the Police file a suit seeking to

stop all state Judicial panels of Inquiry resulting from #EndSARS. Interestingly it is intended to pacify the protesters but seeking to stop it is a blatant act of provocation.

Coming at this point in time and from this government, it was not unexpected.

However, the Inspector General of Police has launched an investigation into the Law suit and the head of Legal of the Police has been issued a query.

Foreigners may fail to see through the game of the Inspector General of Police but not Nigerians. It is totally out of character, to expect the Legal department to file such a suit without the say so, not alone the knowledge of the Inspector General of Police.

Soon, another version will come up. Remember, Sanwo Olu denied knowledge of how the Army got to the Lekki toll gate, blaming forces beyond his control only for the Army to say, he gave them the order to go there.

I recall Coach Roberto Mancini of Italy, claiming he did not know the players on his team sheet in a match, because, as at the time, he was shown the list, he did not have his glasses on.

The IGP wears glasses, he may have signed the order to initiate the law suit, without his glasses on.

Meanwhile, let us await, the result of the IGP's investigation.
