PMB goes to Daura

In the midst of the brouhaha about invitation to the National Assembly, PMB

takes off on a one week leave to his hometown Daura.

Talk of taking sanctuary. A home has been defined as where a person goes to and he is not turned back.

The question is whether the people of Daura are aware of the risk their son is taking in leaving his duty post to seek sanctuary at home?

I suppose PMB would be singing ' Home, sweet Home'. Well Daura is better than going to UK, as Daura is still part of Nigeria.

The question is what will the National Assembly do? What they will do is different from asking ' what they can do'?

If they do what they can it will amount to an excuse for mischief. However, in seeking sanctuary in Daura, while he is being expected in the National Assembly having accepted to put up an appearance is nothing short of an impeachable offence.

It is provocative and I believe PMB knows but it is not surprising as PMB is capable of worse, except that it does Nigerian democracy no good.

For a man who is ruling Nigeria again after fighting so hard to come on board, his legacy is quite disappointing.

Those who believe and hope in the Nigerian project have their work cut out for them.

PMB can and should do better.

  1. PMB cannot do better. He does not have it in him. Idiagbon did everything his government did the first time he was head of state. Nigerians should have known that. But they wanted change by all COST.
