Nigerians cannot wait for this Christmas
It shamed the mighty and turned the world into a beehive of isolation. Globalization took a back seat as flights were restricted and wealthy Nigerians who had long given up on our health care had to fall to various ailments unlike when they could easily fly out.
The lockdown came without widespread palliatives prompting people to call for an easing up lest they die of hunger.
Their prayers were answered but the little trust existing between the LED and the leaders was broken as moneys we're voted for palliatives and yet people were left to starve.
Hoodlums vandalized businesses looking for loots.
Christmas is coming just as the second wave of the Covid pandemic is around the corner. Celebrate people must, even if crossover services have been banned.
Come Christmas come. Nigerians cannot wait. We are religious but we cannot wait to see 2020 come to an end, while hoping for a better 2021.
