Abubakar Malami's comedy of errors

 Abubakar Malami
Attorney General and Minister of Justice

Nigeria's Attorney General is a man for PMB. His greatest antecedent apart from

obtaining a Law degree from Uthman Dan Fodio University in Sokoto and a Master's degree from University of Maiduguri is that he was Legal Adviser to PMB's parochial party, the Congress for Progressive Change.

I had to give that background information to explain how he found himself as Attorney General in a Land like Nigeria full of Eminent jurists and gentlemen.

For a man that wears nepotism as a malignant tumour having Malami as the best PMB can foist on Nigeria should not come as a surprise.

First he was accused of corrupt enrichment by Sahara reporters and the response is mum.

Next he pounds on EFCC Chairman Ibrahim Magu and Magu fires back. In a decent society at that point a neutral body ought to look into the matter.

Our National Assembly were too squirmish to know what to do.

Next he says without thinking that hoodlums in Military uniforms attacked #EndSARS protesters in Lekki, all in a bid to do his master's bidding.

His latest faux pas is to declare that the National Assembly that can impeach a President cannot summon such a President.

Perhaps the principle of fair hearing is alien to Malami.

Nigeria, I hail thee for having the ignominious privilege of having Abubakar Malami as your number one Law Officer.
