Boko Haram sponsors and Nigerian Government
Recently, six Nigerians were given various prison terms by the government of the United Arab Enirates for sponsoring Boko Haram in Nigeria. They vehemently deny the charges.
They even want the Nigerian Government to intervene and the government has asked them to appeal to the Supreme Court.
These are stuff of which thriller Movies are made.
The United Arab Emirates are doing what has turned out to be rocket science for the Nigerian government.
Boko Haram receive air supplies within Nigeria's airspace, yet we have an Air force.
It beggars belief that the Central Bank of Nigeria has so far been unable to track down the accounts of the financiers of Boko Haram and yet in no time, they were able to track down the financiers of #End SARS protests.
It is either that western education is indeed nothing for the Central Bank to demystify sponsors of #EndSARS protests without having a clue as to sponsors of Boko Haram who have a distaste for western education or indeed Boko Haram is just a smokescreen for super duper intelligent men and women too sophisticated for the Central Bank?
Whichever way the die rolls, the United Arab Emirates have sounded a wakeup call for the Nigerian government.
Will they heed the call?
