2020 not ending without Drama
2020 started with Covid -19 pandemic and as the year gets to the eleventh month, the pandemic while still very
much around, the US elections are rubbing shoulders with the the dramatic nature of this pandemic. How else do you describe this election that has not only polarised the US, but for the first time, has Nigerians knee deep into it.
In the past, the Democratic party was the party of the blacks and the down trodden, while nothing has changed, the Republican party has succeeded in smuggling bogus religion into the equation, thus forcing many Nigerians to see a Trump loss as a disaster.
Nothing should surprise any one about 2020. It is not often, you see a year like this.
What is uncertain is what other surprises are in stock from this year. While Joe Bidden has established a notable lead with record votes, the finality of the outcome is very much in the air.
Donald Trump is no Rambo, but he revels in theatrics. Whatever the elections throw up, should be in sync with the nature and character of this year of unparalleled wonders. November is not yet half way, December is yet longer.
Santa Claus should be warming up around the corner but is he?
