Ghana must go

Time there was when Ghana was the butt of Nigerian jokes, but that was then. Things have changed.

In the 60s Nigerians were sent packing from Ghana. In the 80s Nigeria paid

back in kind.

Today, Ghana is under serious pressure to send Nigerians packing. As usual the Nigerian Government is hamstrung by guilt.

The guilt that bad environment pushed these Nigerians away in the first place. So they do not know what to do.

I will tell them what to do. Whatever Ghanaians do to Nigerians, Nigeria can do ten times over.

A strong message should be dispatched to the Ghanaian Government not to mess with our citizens in their country. If Nigerians break their laws, like the civilized people that they are, the law should take its full course.

Ghanaians abound in Nigeria and they are welcome so long as they are law abiding. That the Government is uncaring at home should not make them abdicate their responsibilities abroad.

Usually when the child of a big man is misbehaving in your house, you treat the matter with care.

So too countries like Ghana should be made to feel lest bigger countries toe the same line.
