'Boko Haram' University

Wonders they say shall never end. The Federal Government has decided to reward the Borno State Government, for their relentless struggle against Book Haram.

The literal meaning of Boko Haram is Western Education is evil. To rub it on Boko Haram, the egg heads in the

Nigerian government have decided to site a Military University in Borno State, North East Nigeria,, which is the operational base of Boko Haram.

I personally do not know what to make of this decision. My people have a saying that the one who asks questions does nor miss his way. Buoyed by this I proceed to seek answers to some posers.

Firstly, what is the security architecture for the proposed Military University?

Is the University to scare Boko Haram or to partner with them?

Will repentant Boko Haram members be welcome in the school?

What criteria will be used to select students in the school?

Will the lecturers be soldiers or civilians? 

While awaiting answers to these questions let me quickly request that since schools are known by their feats, the school should set as a target the freeing of Leah Sharibu and the remaining missing Chibok girls.

Furthermore if they are not to become training grounds for Boko Haram insurgents, they are to set a realistic date for flushing out Boko Haram lest it becomes a training ground for the insurgents as only a few die hard disgruntled persons will willingly seek admission there with Boko Haram, nearby.

Meanwhile I praise the ingenuity of the government for choosing Borno over other states.
