A distinguished son of Odogbolu in Ogun State and the husband of the late Florence Adejola Mabadeje, the pioneer Principal of Lafiaji High School, a school Mr. F. A. Mabadeje holds very dear to his heart.
He missed the last reunion of Lafiaji High School held at Police Officers Mess, Ikeja, Lagos, no thanks to the weird traffic jam of that day.
In confidence, he told me that he still remained committed to any subsequent event to be organized by the school.
Mr. F. A. Mabadeje retired from Consolidated Discounts Limited.
He is an active member of All Saints Anglican Church, Yaba, the Lagos Chamber of Commerce and Industry, and Saint John Ambulance.
Mr. F. A. Mabadeje is a very much detribalized Nigerian.
He was a contemporary of Godwin Ahabue Thompson Oboh a former Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Union Bank.
His days at Union Bank from where he retired in 1995 were very interesting. He gave many years of meritorious service to Union Bank no wonder he was called out of retirement to be the pioneer Head of the youngest Discount House in the country.
My Daddy, I wish you many more years of distinguished service to humanity.
